Welcome!

Alright guys, this is it! Let's all try and contribute something daily like recipes, good places to dine paleo, and your normal bitching, fussing and swishing we are all so good at doing.I know some people are self conscious so I will leave it up to you guys to take before & after pictures and optional weight and body fat.

While this is a month long challenge, I do encourage everyone to stay on the healthy eating train after the challenge. I'll keep this blog active so we always have a outlet/place to vent.

I'm actually pretty stoked about this. Anyone have any ideas on how to keep Paleo 'wallet-friendly'? It's pretty expensive, at least in my opinion

Going totally grassfed is out of anyone's budget besides Oprah. My biggest thing is buying all my meats in bulk and freezing them. Costco is a great for bulk buying and if you don't have a membership, smart and final is a good alternative. I also subscribe to the whole foods weekly email group to see if they are running any specials. If you are willing to visit savemart, vons etc daily, they often have meat on special because its on the verge of being past the sale date. I go around tow pretty often buying meats and such so I'll post any specials I find on the blog.

And farmers markets are gonna be the best for fruits and veggies!

Since I can't quite figure out how to create my own post, here's an article that I found explaining why potatoes aren't necessarily as bad for you as some Paleo experts claim. DISCLAIMER: I'm not a nutrition expert, and I'm probably looking for some kind of excuse as to why I should be able to eat potatoes while on Paleo. I'm addicted

I have a buddy that owns meat distribution company... I just need to know what is on the "to buy" and "not to buy" list... I've never done Paleo but it seems like now is the best time to try! :)

OK.. there are resources on the CrossFit FTF site that I will point out when I complete the post about the challenge... also I go to Winco because I don't necessarily have to buy bulk.. I stay in the fruits, veggies, and meat section and then leave... makes it cheaper.

There are a few sites that cover Paleo on a budget.. I think we are going to try Winco as well.
